Haiti - Insecurity : Reunion of former military of FADH to the Gonaives
Last Friday, nearly a hundred former military of the Armed Forces of Haiti (FADH), disbanded by former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide in 1994, have made a reunion in the city of Gonaives.

"We are again mobilized and ready to contribute to combat insecurity, kidnapping and crime" reported one of the participants. In workshop, the former military of the FADH in the presence of members of civil society, have discussed of the new army to establish as part of the development of Haiti "We are for the return of the army, but not like before. Today the country needs a professional army development-oriented" declared a former sergeant who suggests that young people are enrolled in this new army and that the Military Academy is reopened. Participants intends to communicate soon the resolutions of this reunion to the President Michel Martelly.
