Haiti - Police : New Police Commissioner to Petion ville
For some days many changes have taken place in the judiciary and police, Yesterday Alex Pierre-Louis became the new police Commissioner of Pétion ville in place of Commissioner Varnel Lacroix placed in isolation in the case of Serge Démosthène.

Last week, Me Harrycidas Augustus, the Commissioner of the Government, at the heart of the scandal of the death of the accused, Serge Démosthène, following to the police brutalities in the file on the assassination of the President of the Board of Directors of the Banque Nationale de Credit (BNC), Guiteau Toussaint, was relieved of his duties, and replaced by Sonel Jean-François, one of the substitutes of Commissioner.

On June 28, Paul Denis, he Minister of Justice and Public Security of the outgoing Government, and influential member of the platform INITE, has resigned for reasons of "personal convenience", while waiting the new government, the interim will be ensured by Jean-Max Bellerive, the Prime Minister resigned.

On June 24, the Inspector General, Jean Yonel Trécil and Mario Andrésol Director General of National Police of Haiti (PNH), have proceeded yesterday Friday, to the installation of the Divisional Commissioner Godson Orélus, appointed as Central Director of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), to replace Frantz Thermilus, who held the position for four years.

During his speech in New York on June 26, the President Martelly had declared "Tomorrow we will install commissions in various ministries, including the Ministry of Justice to begin to put the order in the country ."
