Haiti - Politic : Bernard Gousse could file his documents in Parliament today

Concerning the documents that Mr. Gousse must file to determine whether or not he meets the constitutional requirements, the President of the Senate, the Senator Rodolphe Joazile had declared yesterday "...I had the time to call all the Senators, we will make a Conference of Presidents, we will explain the situation, this means that we have officially received the letter of President of the Republic making choices of M. Bernard Honorat Gousse to lead the next Government [...] to the Conference of Presidents this morning [July 6] we will decide If we will keep the same Commission [the same that had verified the documents of Daniel Gérard Rouzier] or we will create a new Commission to work on the file, we will write to the President of the Republic to ask Mr. Bernard Gousse to come and present his documents in the Senate, and we will analyze the file through the Commission, the Commission will have to do the analysis of the record of Mr. Bernard Gousse, it is a technical work, we'll see if Mr. Bernard Gousse, meets the constitutional requirements, If this is the case, he will be ratified, if not he will be rejected.

The Senator Joazile has indicated that he would write to the President "If the Conference of Presidents, which is a big body within the Senate, give me the permission to do it today, once they have given me the authorization, Today [July 6] I will write to the President of the Republic in order to invite Mr. Bernard Gousse to file his documents in the Senate" stating that "if the record of Mr. Gousse, is correct the Commission should present its report before the Assembly on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest."

Last hour a Special Commission charged to study the documents of the the new Prime Minister designate, Bernard H. Gousse, was formed. It is composed of nine members, it is presided by Jean William Jeanty, Senator of Nippes. Lucas Sainvil Senator of North is the recording secretary (secrétaire rapporteur) of the Commission, the others members are Jean Baptiste Bien-Aimé, Edo Zenny, Yvon Bussereth, Nènèl Cassy, Jean Willy Jean Baptiste, Wanceclass Lambert et Francisco Delacruz.
