Haiti - Education : Towards a National Student Entrepreneur Status in Haiti

The Secretary of State for Training Maguy Durcé, who represented the Minister of National Education Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, participated in the international meeting to review and capitalize on the EuRopean Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students ERASMUS+, and on the project "Structuring and support of Student Entrepreneurship in the Maghreb" (SALEEM).

This meeting will lead to the creation of the National Student Entrepreneur Status and the development of the Student Entrepreneur Pole which will be networked across Haiti and internationally.

A status which will help students find new levers for professional integration (credits, training, coaching, support, etc...) and will facilitate their integration into the economic sphere.

The SALEEM project has already been tested in Morocco, Tunisia, France and Belgium. It will be transferred to several countries in Europe, Africa and in particular in Haiti, under the aegis of the Ministry of National Education via the Office of the Secretary of State Durcé, from the State University of Haiti, Public Universities in the Region and private universities.

Note that this project is coordinated by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and funded by the European Union.
