Haiti - Taiwan : Donation of 2.4 million US for the production of rice seeds

Friday June 18, 2021 in Damien, Wen-Jiann Ku the Ambassador of Taiwan (Republic of China) accredited to Haiti, presented the Haitian Minister of Agriculture, Patrix Sévère, three checks totaling more than 2.4 million US dollars (2,413,000) for the pursuit of the activities planned within the framework of the Reinforcement of the National Production of Rice Seeds (RESPONSE) project, a project which is being carried out in the three major rice-growing regions of the country (North, North -East and South) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-26606-haiti-taiwan-$22-million-for-increased-rice-seed-production.html
