The Prime Minister-designate, Me Bernard H. Gousse, has finally filed his documents to the Senate, now they will be reviewed by a commission composed of the Senators : Lucas François Sainvil, Nènel Cassy, Yvon Buissereth, Wencesclass Lambert, Edwin Zenny, Francisco Dalacruz, Jean-Baptiste Bien-Aimé, Jean William Jeanty (President of the Commission) et Jean Willy Jean-Baptiste).

William Jeanty, the President of the Commission for his part promises an "analysis technical and objective" of the file of Prime Minister-designate.

If the file passes the first step it will face the vote of the senators, 16 of them are publicly opposed to the candidacy of Me Gousse. Last Sunday, the President Martelly has estimated publicly, to have the support of 50% of the Senate, however, the Senator Mélius Hyppolite is more cautious saying that the Pro-Gousse are only 13 in the Senate.

"Today with the filing of my documents to the Senate I start to take the path that will allow me to put my body and my mind to the service of the country, to the service of the population. If the parliament gives me the passage this will be a great honor for me to serve a population that is proud, a population that is worthy. This work I'll do it together with the President Michel Martelly and I'll do it together with all the parties, I say well all the parties in the Parliament, these parties, in their differences they represent diverse wealth, different experiences, different qualities that make the richness of our country. [...] I listen everybody, I will work with everyone to be able to serve everyone" declared Me Gousse.
