Haiti - Education : Official evaluations with oral exam of graduating students of ENIJE 20/05/2022 10:58:21
For five days, 581 graduating ENIJE students from the West department are gathered at the Training and Development Department (DFP) and 299 others gathered in an examination center in Carrefour, must pass this first stage of the official exams which takes place in two stages. This week is more dedicated to graduating students from the Normal Schools of Teachers in the West Department. The candidates, coming from the northern zone of the department of the West, meet at the Directorate of Training and Development (DFP) located in Pacot (Port-au-Prince). While, those from the southern zone of the department, gather in a center at the level of the commune of Carrefour, for the purpose of undergoing the oral tests and at the same time supporting their internship report previously submitted to the appreciation of the jury of the Ministry. Initially, these candidates have to make an oral presentation of their internship report and, secondly, to do a lesson simulation exercise in front of a jury set up for this purpose. Question of seeing in particular how these postulant-teachers will facilitate the possibility for children of communicating effectively in a teaching/learning context; how they use the resources of professional and technical gestures related to the teaching profession, and finally to assess their level of mastery of the tools and jargons relating to the concepts of the profession. Note that according to statistics provided by the National Bureau of State Examinations (BUNEXE), 2,715 ENIJE candidates will take part in these examinations nationwide. According to Georges Wilbert Frank Director at the DFP, this Friday, June 20, is selected for the oral exam for students from the 9 other departments of the country. Georges Wilbert Frank specifies that being of a versatile vocation, the postulant-teachers, in addition to the academic and professional test, are also evaluated in all the disciplines and all the didactics of the disciplines to be taught at the fundamental school, namely : French Communication, Creole Communication, Experimental Sciences, Social Sciences and Mathematics.
