While the country awaits for more than three months that a Prime Minister is appointed for the creation of a government, the senator Sorel Jacinthe, President of the Chamber of Deputies, indicates that "the second phase has not changed, on Tuesday, the President of the Republic had a communication with me, so far I think that he's in the phase of consultation with groups with whom he is awaiting answers." The Senator Jacinthe indicates that the President of the Republic, Michel Martelly has not yet given a name "we discussed, but he is not yet able to definitively say to me, here is the name..." indicating also that Martelly has still several names on his list and that he asked "to give him a small time..."

According to information circulating, there would be two names on the list of President Martelly, Garry Conille, currently resident coordinator of the United Nations system in Niger and Wilson Laleau, Vice Rector to the Academic Affairs of the State University of Haiti. At a meeting held Tuesday evening at the Hotel Karibe, aiming to the formation of a presidential majority in the Lower House, the President would have said that he would choose one of these two personalities.
