The Commissioner Frantz Lerebours spokesman for the National Police of Haiti (PNH) announced yesterday that several individuals were arrested in connection with the investigation on the kidnapping of Notary Giordani on August 26, whose lifeless body was found at Canapé-Vert the next day.

"...This is great news, Lazare Jean Sébastien, 22, who is one of the authors of the kidnapping of Me Giordani was arrested [near the notary's office]. At his hearing, we realized that he had enjoyed the complicity of the three security guard of Notary [...]""

Lazare Jean Sébastien is currently to the police station of Port-au-Prince where he was heard, I do not know if additional hearings will be made, he could be taken to court on Monday. C. Phalange et Marcellus Marcelin, two guards are also in custody. According to revelations made by Jean Sébastien during his interrogation, the operation was sponsored by the guards, with a promise of USD$15.000...
