Excerpts from the PM's speech : “[...] The National Adaptation Plan is intended to be a comprehensive medium-and long-term framework, over the next ten years, and primarily covers the sectors of agriculture, health, infrastructure and resources. in water. "The National Committee on Climate Change is an inter-institutional and intersectoral body whose objective is to ensure the coordination, monitoring and evaluation of policies, programs and national action plans concerning climate change." Nick René Hartmann, UNDP Resident Representative in Haiti, explained that the National Adaptation Plan of Haiti aims to guide Haiti towards sustainable adaptation actions and relevant mechanisms to help the country, in the medium and long term, to emerge from its situation of great vulnerability in the face of these disasters.
