Slovenia : Haiti at the cross-country skiing world championships

For the first time, Haiti is in the running for the world cross-country skiing championships, in Planica in Slovenia (February 22 to March 5, 2023). Haitian cross-country skier Stevenson Savart (22) will first take part in three qualifying events: Wednesday, February 22 individual 10 km freestyle (Savart qualified), Thursday men's classic sprint (result pending) and Friday freestyle team sprint (result pending). Stevenson Savart has ambition and hopes to be on the starting line at the Olympic Winter Games in Milan & Cortina d'Ampezzo (Italy) in 2026.
