Haiti - Politic : François Richel Lafaille, for a state with social responsibilities

François Richel Lafaille, the new Minister of Social Affairs and Labour, which replaces Gérald Germain [outgoing Minister] declzared in his speech of installation, that "there is virtually no contingencies that may prevent the state to assume its social responsibilities" claiming to want to ensure the revitalization of the Public Enterprise for the Promotion of Social Housing (EPPLS) he assured that his ministry "will not fail to provide effective support for vulnerable groups of the society" and that the social dialogue, will be the cornerstone of the action of his ministry. "The change that the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister expect from the Ministry of Social Affairs in terms of social protection, will passes through an overhaul in the legal framework" added Mr. Lafaille.
