"Welcome Connect", a free initiative of the United States Government, allows American citizens to provide support to people from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, from Ukraine and Venezuela looking to come to the United States

Through the "Welcome Connect" platform, sponsors can connect with beneficiaries and help them meet their basic needs during their first months in the United States

Registration for "Welcome Connect" is continuous, but limited and scheduled

Beneficiary registrations open the 3rd Tuesday of each month. The next available dates are April 16 and May 21, 2024. Opening hours for registration vary depending on your location for Haiti and Cuba : 11:00 a.m.

To register, you must access the website on the designated day of each month and fill out a profile with basic information about yourself.

Once your profile is complete, you will be able to see potential sponsors and select up to 7 maximum to send them a message. A sponsor won't be able to see your profile until you send them a message.

It is important to remember that registration is closed once the limit of beneficiaries of a program is reached. We recommend that you check the website on the designated day of each month to ensure that you have the opportunity to register.

Welcome Connect is a valuable tool that can help you find a sponsor and start your new life in the United States. Even though it is very difficult to sign up, you have nothing to lose by trying.
