Friday July 19, 2024, marks the 17th and last day of the preparation course for our U-20 Grenadiers in Colón, Querétaro (Mexico), who arrived on July 3 in preparation for the North American Confederation Championship, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF), qualifier for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025.

Coach Angelo Jean-Baptiste and his team had a final meeting on the field with the players between 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., before leaving at noon the "CEICKOR Alto Rendimiento Deportivo", a specialized center located at more than 2,000 meters altitude.

Let's remember that according to the regulations, two days before the first match of the Haitian team, she will be taken care of by Concacaf, which will accommodate her in a hotel in Irapuato for the duration of the competition.

The center staff, sensing the end of our stay, was motivated to immortalize the presence of the group by taking photos. From gardeners to kitchen and administration staff, everyone posed with the Haitian delegation.

The Haitian delegation left Colón, Querétaro, at 12:35 p.m. After a two-hour drive, the delegation returned to its hotel in Irapuato. Once installed, CONCACAF representatives came to join them for administrative and regulatory formalities, such as checking players' passports and equipment. They took the opportunity to provide the Haitian team with the necessary materials : balls, patches, bibs and armbands. The atmosphere of official competition was already being felt 2 days before the opening match of our Grenadiers against "the tricolors" of Mexico on Sunday July 21, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. local time (9:00 p.m. in Haiti).

The official training session on the eve of the match is scheduled for this Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
