Haiti - Case Bélizaire : Beginning of the hearings of the Special Commission of Inquiry

This Friday begins the hearing sessions of the Special Commission of Inquiry and of follow, responsible in the lower house, of the case of Deputy Bélizaire. The President of the Commission stated that these hearings are designed to seek clarification on the arbitrary arrest of their colleague and to determine the responsibilities.
The Deputy Me Jean Danton Léger [constituency of Léogâne], reported that letters had been sent to twenty people including : the Deputy Arnel Bélizaire; Godson Aurélus, the Director of the Judicial Police; Lionel Bourgouin and Félix Léger, former commissioners of the government; Josué Pierre Louis, former Minister of Justice and to Michel Brunache, the current Minister of Justice.
According to the Deputy éger Michel Brunache, although Minister, will be auditioned as former Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, a position that he held at the time of the arrest of Deputy Bélizaire, noting that in a resolution of the lower house, the deputies no longer recognize the authority of Mr. Brunache.
Me Jean Danton Léger stressed that the members of government will be forced to cooperate and if they do not respond to convocations "we take the necessary steps..."
