The President Michel Martelly has left the country on Tuesday for New York, where he will attend the 67th General Assembly of the United Nations.

The Head of State will intervene this Wednesday at the rostrum of the UN to defend, as he has always done, the interests of Haiti. During his stay, the President Martelly will hold talks with several international personalities.

Today, the President will speak to the diaspora, at the Brooklyn College, Whiteman auditorium, 2900 Campus Road Brooklyn, NY 11210, from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Live entertainment by Shoubou of Tabou Combo, Isnard Douby of System Band, Cubano of Skah-Shah, Michael Guirand of Carimi, Alan Cave of ZAIN and G5 Melody.

Before his departure, the President recalled that he took all necessary measures so that everything works very well, during his absence, while calling on the population to remain calm and vigilant.
