Haiti - Politic : Opening Soon of new State stores
Monday, during a press briefing, Ady Jean Gardy, the Minister of Communication, summarized some points of discussion between the President and 8 Senators, during the past weekend at Club Indigo

He mentioned in particular the decision of the Government to put in place without delay, of sheds to house the new State stores and the fight against irregular storage of basic necessities products, the smuggling, corruption and the fiscal disobedience.

"The President Martelly also presented to Senators the major measures of austerity planned to reduce government spending. Border controls will be strengthened to ensure the interests of the state, on the inflows and outflows of merchandise. Similarly, new taxes will be imposed, particularly on the import of luxury vehicles, while in parallel, other tax measures will favor the small and medium pockets."

Ady Jean Gardy, recalled that the President Martelly and the entire Government, sought to establish of relations of good governance in order to impose a rule of law in order to ensure sustainable development in Haiti and to this end, the Head of State called the Senators to a permanent dialogue with the Executive, in mutual respect, to harmonize the actions and reconstruction programs in Haiti.
