Haiti - Tourism : First meeting of the Steering Committee of the projects for Île-à-Vache

Tuesday, one week after the launch of various works and tourism development projects for Île-à-Vache, by he Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe and Minister of Tourism, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-9270-haiti-tourism-official-launch-of-project-tourist-destination-ile-a-vache.html the Steering Committee held its first formal meeting. "The Committee intends to support the work of the Technical Committee" said Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin who chaired the session. The Ministry of Tourism will ensure the direction and coordination of projects according to the flowchart presented at this workshop.
During this first meeting, to be held once a month throughout the duration of the various projects on the island, René Hubert, the Coordinator of the Technical Committee, presented a dashboard of detailed action plan that will allow members of the Steering Committee, to inform about the work in progress, completed and/or to be made by the various actors involved.
For its part, Fresner Dorcin, the Secretary of State for Agricultural Recovery, presented the outline of Agricultural Recovery Program and Environmental whose overall objective is to facilitate the development of more than 1,500 ha of agricultural land for the improvement of the economic situation of the inhabitants of the Île-à Vache.
