The 2nd Esition of Haiti Fashion Week open in Port-au-Prince, tomorrow Wednesday, September 18 until September 21, 2013, under the theme "Mod'ifions notre environnement" (Let's modify our environment). This unmissable fashion event, will see in addition of designers and creators of Haitian fashion, the participation of foreign designers invited from Africa, America, Europe and the Caribbean, aims to strengthen the industry fashion in Haiti.

During 4 days, Haitian designers and creators, models and other industry professionals will be able to appreciate the extent of their talents. At the program for this second edition, shows, fashion shows, a trade show and workshops and forums open to professionals and students [19 and 20 September] on topics such as : Fashion Merchandising, the Perspectives of support to the Caribbean fashion, Production Strategies, Training, Development of Haitian textile and fashion...

Wednesday, Haiti Fashion Week will begin with an gala opening show at Tara's. To the program, a fashion show "Extravaganza" under the sign of the environment.

From Thursday, the Karibe Convention Center will host more than 40 local and international designers, models, stylists, makeup artists... Every day in the room Ginger, from 10 am to 6 pm, twenty exhibitors will present their garments and accessories to local and international buyers.

Every evening the "Runway" will come alive after 7 pm, with fashion show of 10-12 creators.

Unlike the first edition, this year's goal is to make this event an event to promote fashion and clothing production, profitable and sustainable. Also, unlike the first edition where access was free, this year it is required to pay to attend the activities.

2,200 gourdes for the gala evening at Tara's

1,100 gourdes for fashion shows evening at Karibe

A package ticket (Pass) for 4 evenings [September 18 to 21] is also available at a price of 4,400 gourdes

Tickets are on sale in supermarkets Caribbean, Eagle and Giant, as well as in Modayiti (Lucky Plaza, Delmas) and Karibe Convention Center.
