Friday, Ms. Dithny Joan Raton, Dithny Joan Raton, Departmental Director of Tourism South East, met executives of the Technical Office of the Historical Center (BTCH) of Jacmel and the Spanish Cooperation to present the progress of ongoing projects and perspectives of the Ministry for the next three months. I was discussed the rehabilitation of the towna hall of Jacmel, which is making great strides, (opening scheduled for next December). n addition, the Jacmel region hosted from 24 to 26 October 2013, a mission sent by the Ministry of Tourism, consisting of Sandra and John Scott, two well-known bloggers who travel since 1980 and who wish to show a "positive image of Haiti".

During their stay in Jacmel, they visited the beaches, the historic center, the local crafts, film school, music school Dessaix Baptiste and some tourist facilities of Southeast. At the tourist port of Jacmel, the Club Cultural Explosion through the congo, dance of love and of the reconciliation proceeded with the presentation of some carnival masks that are the hallmarks of Jacmel.

The Departmental Directorate South-East took the opportunity to thank in a special way the Tourist Association of South East and especially the hospitality of the hotel "La Colline Enchantée" for the welcoming of these two visitors, which honored the reputation of the host city.
