The Fund of Economic and Social Assistance (FAES) inform the student community in particular and the public in general, that the 9th and final payment of program "Kore Etidyan" for the 2012-2013 academic year is underway.

The FAES also invites new students of the State University of Haiti, those of Public Regional University and those of the National School of Higher Education, to enroll in the program "Kore Etidyan" for the academic year 2013-2014. The forms will be available in their respective dean. For former recipients, renewal is automatic.

To recap, the conditional cash transfer program "Kore Etidyan" was launched December 17, 2012 by the administration Martelly-Lamothe, under the "Ede Pèp" national program to encourage and support university students of public institutions, by giving each student enrolled in the program, a grant of 18,000 gourdes in total, 2,000 gourdes monthly during the 9 months of the 2012-2013 academic year.

"Kore Etidyan" has so far registered 27,764 beneficiaries in 25 institutions in eight departments of the country. In addition, the Economic and Social Fund has undertaken work to improve the system to better serve the 30,000 students envisaged for the 2013-2014 academic year.
