Haiti - Economy : American Airlines from Cap-Haitien...

"From September, you will not need to go to Port-au-Prince to access American Airlines," declared the Head of State last Sunday in Cap Haitien while attending the launch of its Political Party "Parti Haïtien Tèt Kale" (PHTK).
For 3 months, the dedevelopment works intensifies. Meanwhile, Venezuelan bank Bandex, just released this week $10 million for finishing the airport "We work on the redevelopment of the existing terminal and all safety systems required will complete the works which must end in September," indicated Jean-Joseph Larosilière the coordinator of Cap-Haitien International Airport.
Taking care not to mention that the non-compliance and the many gaps in surveillance of Cap-Haitien International Airport, led the Organization of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to downgrade the Authority of Haitian civil aviation (National Office of Civil Aviation - OFNAC).
