Sunday May 3, 2020, the number of people infected worldwide with the Covid-19 coronavirus since the start of the pandemic (Official source), amounted to 3,441,767 confirmed cases (+ 2.51%), or +84,317 new cases since yesterday (85,489).

State of emergency extended by 2 months
On Saturday, the French government decided to extend the state of health emergency by two months. The Council of Ministers has examined the bill extending the health emergency until July 24. Over 80% of people have no symptoms
Based on the latest information from the scientific community: between 80% and 85% of those who contract Covid-19 have no symptoms, or some very mild and often mistaken for other viral infections. Between 15% and 17% of infected people would need medical assistance, whether it be a drug treatment or a short assistance linked to respiratory problems and between 3% and 5% would need a hospitalization to face the symptoms caused by Covid-19 in combination with other comorbidity factors.

SYMPTOMS
Common symptoms of Covid-19 coronavirus: cough, fever and extreme fatigue. Some people may also have more severe symptoms, such as difficulty breathing or pneumonia. On average, symptoms of COVID-19 usually develop 5 to 7 days after infection. In some infrequent cases, they may appear only on the 12th day.

Tips
