Haiti - Resignation Conille : First reactions of Parliamentarians
Following the resignation of Prime Minister, Dr. Garry Conille parliamentarians and politicians did not wait to express their first reactions :

Levaillant Louis-jeune (President of the Chamber of Deputies) :
Levaillant Louis-jeune, President of the Chamber of Deputies believes that the country is simply blocked, stressing that the absence of majority in both houses will make difficult the establishment of a new Government "We are in crisis and it will take time for the country establish a new government," noting that the draft budget will not be approved because of a Government resigning which can only liquidate the current affairs as stipulated in Article 165, "In case of resignation of Prime Minister, the Government remains in office until the appointment of his successor to expedite current affairs."

Deputy Guy Gérard Georges (South) :
The Deputy Guy Gérard Georges, President of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Lower House asks "What message are we trying to send to the international community while the authorities say they want to attract investors and ensure a stable political climate in the country" regretting that politicians do not realize they have a duty to cooperate for the benefit of the population suffering of all kinds of difficulties. He fears that the process leading to the formation of a new government is faced with the same obstacles in Parliament.

Edouard Paultre (CONHANE) :
The Pastor Edouard Paultre, Head of the Haitian Council of Non-State Actors (Conhane), estimates that the fight against corruption has made resigned Garry Conille "The Prime Minister resigned because of major corruption cases. We are facing a power that does not really fight corruption in the country" He also recognizes that there are conflicts between the Head of Government and the President on important issues, such as the publication of the amended text of the Constitution and the presence of former armed soldiers in the territory.

Rosny Smart (Former Prime Minister) :

Senator Edwin Zenny (Edo) :

Laurent Lamothe (Minister of Foreign Affairs) :

Sauveur Pierre-Etienne (OPL) :
Sauveur Pierre-Etienne, the coordinator of the Struggling People's Organization (OPL), considers that the resignation of Garry Conille was predictable. He deplores what he calls the irresponsibility of the Head of State and of Prime Minister "The resignation of Garry Conille will have serious consequences [...] If it is easy to create a crisis, it is very difficult to defuse it" he believes that following the resignation, "the international community will be less inclined to support the government."

Senator Fritz Carlos Lebon :
The Senator Fritz Carlos Lebon, said he was not surprised by the resignation of Prime Minister seen the differences between the two branches of the Executive, but he remains convinced that this resignation will defuse allow to a crisis.
