Thursday, at Multipurpose Training Centre of the Croix-des-Bouquets, the new Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC), Colonel Himmler Rébu was installed in his new position, in the presence of the outgoing Minister Magalie Racine, of Technical directors, senior executives and employees of the Ministry.

In his speech, Magalie Racine stressed the right choice of that she described as a man who knows the community and dedicates a love for the sport, while recalling to the new Holder that the budgetary envelope allocated to the Ministry will not allow him to meet all the expectations she asked him to have a particular attention for the small staff.

For his part, Minister Rébu, after paying tribute to the outgoing Minister and renewed his commitment to the administration Martelly-Lamothe, invited all staff to action, to move mentally and physically in order to yield results.

The new Minister announced that he will soon present his plans to the President Martelly and Prime Minister Lamothe before specifying his working method to the Ministry staff.

As of Monday, after installing the new Secretary of State for Youth and Civic Action, Gabrielle Hyacinthe, the MinisterRébu will meet employees of MJSAC to present them his vision and make exchanges on the functioning of the Ministry.
