Within the framework of the bilateral cooperation Haiti-Mexico, following the agreement of 27 November 2012 on the granting of 300 graduate scholarships offered by Mexico, the Mexican Embassy in Port-au-Prince informs us that as part of Phase II of the agreement, it received a total of 489 files of applicants from ten departments of the country (45% women and 55% men).

The entrance examination will be held Monday, April 28, 2014 for the selection of 100 beneficiaries of university scholarships. The time and place will be communicated directly to the candidates concerned.

to Haitian nationals in the framework of cultural cooperation with Haiti, scholarships will be awarded as follows: 125 in 2013; 100 in 2014 and 75 in 2015.

Recall that during the first phase, 159 applicants coming from 10 departments of Haiti, baccalaureate students Part 2, among the top 30 laureates in their respective academic department, participated in the contest. 109 candidates who obtained at least 80% of average, receive a scholarship and left Haiti to Mexico August 19, 2013, to begin their higher and technical education in various disciplines.

Through this program, the Mexican government reiterates its commitment to work with Haiti, through investment in key sectors such as education, which will allow hundreds of Haitian youth to have access to vocational training to serve to the development of their country.
