Haiti - Politic : The opposition front divides in Petit-Goâve

Thursday while the "Mixed Liberation Front" (FML) has decided to observe a truce for 48 hours, hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Petit Goâve to the appeal of "Bloc of Democratic Opposition" (BOD). This 13th day of protest took place without incident for once. However, as a precautionary measure, schools remained closed and economic activity remained reduced. The public is worried and residents of some neighborhoods complain about harmful effects of tear gas, used extensively in recent days by the security forces.
The discord reigns in local branches of the opposition who no longer form a common front, but is now divided into 3 distinct groups with their own claims.
1 - The "Mixed Liberation Front" (FML) pro-Martelly, but anti-Sandra Jules (Mayor of Petit-Goâve) is directed by Gerson Constant, Pierre Alain and Getheau Lindor (all teachers)
2 - The "Bloc of Democratic Opposition" (BOD) affiliated with the "Patriotic Movement of the Democratic Opposition" (MOPOD). The BOD directed by Acaau, Jolibois Vilbert and Tristan Waguel, is composed of Fanmi Lavalas, Rezo Pitit Pep, 3 vwa and young Muslims. A radical Bloc determined to continue the fight against the government in place that requires: the departure of President Martelly, the establishment of a provisional government, holding early general elections and the resignation of Sandra Jules, the interim agent of the Executive
3 - The "Front of Opposition Politics" (FOP) anti-Martelly, led by David Sincère, which claims the paternity of the opposition movement in Petit Goâve and the initiative in the struggle against the team in place. This group requires, among other things : the release of political prisoners, holding elections...
