Monday at the National Palace, during the inauguration ceremony of Cabinet, Evans Paul, the new Head of Government https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-12963-haiti-flash-official-evans-paul-installed-at-the-primature.html called for the collaboration of all, to run the boat of the Nation to port and for the success of the Government. A success that according to him "goes through a strong public administration, organized and oriented towards the imperative to serve the people [...] We are one team of men and women [...] determined to seek stability, social peace to calm the atmosphere for the holding of credible and inclusive elections, essential to economic and social progress of the country."

Affirming that the new administration Martelly-Paul, will work hard to consolidate the rule of law, strengthening the democracy and for the socio-economic development of the country "I assure you that the President Martelly and will always have our doors open to continue the constructive dialogue already initiated with the various sectors of the country."

Ladies and gentlemen of the Cabinet,

I am fully aware of my responsibilities to advance the country, to organize the State, to respect and uphold the law, so I rely on your full cooperation. We are one team of men and women determined to seek stability, social peace to calm the atmosphere for the holding of credible and inclusive elections, essential for economic and social progress of the country, our country Haiti.

The President of the Republic and I rely on your expertise and your ideal of change to drive to port the national boat.

As Prime Minister, I would ensure that resources and state bodies are not used for partisan purposes and/or political persecution.

As Prime Minister, I propose to hover above the crowd. I would take pleasure in listening all dissenting voices, all taken positions that disagree with mine, I would understand them and would respect them.

Be assured, ladies and gentlemen, that if there are political positions that can possibly affect the man Evans Paul, they will never affect in any way the Prime Minister Evans Paul, a Prime Minister at the service of all.

The dangerthat threatened the Haitian democracy in this difficult conjuncture, required that I first think of the interests of the country and I gladly accepted this difficult and heavy responsibility [...]"
