Haiti - Energy : «Good news for the country» dixit Evans Paul

Monday at the Primature, the Government of Haiti proceeded to the signing of the contract to build the hydroelectric dam Artibonite 4C with the Chinese firm SINOHYDRO Corporation LTD. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13129-haiti-economy-the-dam-of-artibonite-will-be-built-by-chinese.html
The Prime Minister, Evans Paul who welcomed the signing declared "This is good news for the country, by signing today this construction agreement for the hydroelectric dam Artibonite 4C, amounting to more than $240 million [...] The dam construction work will last between 36 and 42 months. Thanks to this dam, the country will have 32 megawatts of additional power, and 3,500 hectares of agricultural land will be irrigated. This project will allow employ more than 7,500 people and increase by $10 million income in agriculture."
