Haiti - Politic : Border Security, toward a Dominican national priority ?

The Border Permanent Commission of the Dominican Chamber of Deputies, presented its report on two draft resolutions through which it is asked to President Danilo Medina to declare "National High priority" the adoption of an integrated border security system in order to control and regulate migration and trade in all border provinces.
The Commission also delivered a report on two draft resolutions that have been merged, asking the President "to take all necessary measures", including the construction of a concrete wall along the border between the two nations on the island, with passages to ensure control of migration flows https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-11349-haiti-security-border-wall-project-studied-in-a-dominican-commission.html The authors of the two merged projects, are the deputies Luis Castillo and Vinicio Castillo.
