"Once again the country has be able to prove to the whole world that it can deal with emergencies and simultaneously project a different image of Haiti, that of a nation capable of provide quick responses and appropriate in case of serious accident," stressed the Head of State.

In addition, he urged all the decentralized State bodies to set up emergency structures to deal with any eventuality. The President Martelly presented his sincere thanks to all those who have provided their solidarity in this accident. He also congratulated the First Lady, who took the initiative to place each year for 4 years, an emergency medical center in the path of carnival parade, to act quickly in case of accident.
