Haiti - Justice : «The country will not fall in instability» dixit Camille Edouard

For lack of see a significant easing of post-electoral socio-political unrest and the return to calm and security on our streets, Camille Edouard Jr., the Minister of Justice and Public Security, multiplies calls for calm, promises and tries to reassure the population at the approach of the celebrations of the nativity...

In his latest statements, the Minister invites "all parties involved in the electoral process to respect the democratic game whose cardinal principles are participation in elections, the acceptance and challenge of the results in due form," emphasizing that beyond any consideration of legal guarantee, the strongest lies in the common will to respect the individual freedoms and the property of others, the renunciation to violence and above all the respect of the laws and obedience to the police.

The Minister strongly affirms that the Government will not allow any entity to create a situation likely to bring the country back into chaos [...] e Government has instructed the forces of law and order [...] in order to counter the malicious aims of certain sectors comfortable in instability and anarchy [...]"

Affirming "the Government remains attentive to any situation likely to harm the spirit of the nativity which must reign during these holidays season."
