Haiti - Paris : Jovenel Moïse wants a participative diaspora 14/12/2017 10:35:46
On the sidelines of his official European tour, President Jovenel Moïse met in Paris with members of the Haitian diaspora community https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-22960-icihaiti-flash-diaspora-jovenel-moise-will-meet-tonight-the-haitian-community.html Warmly welcomed in a festive atmosphere, President Moïse told his compatriots of the determination of his administration to work to put Haiti on the path of sustainable development through including the Caravan of Change, a strategy aiming to put the state apparatus at the service of the Haitian people. He took the opportunity to reiterate his strong commitment to work to strengthen the judicial system and mechanisms to fight against the scourge of corruption, which he believes is a nuisance for the development of the country. Citing in particular institutions such as the Central Unit for Financial Intelligence (UCREF), the Unit for Combating Corruption (ULCC) and the BAF, the President wanted to reassure compatriots living in France of the will of the current administration to fight a battle against the spoliators of all kinds. Moses expressed satisfaction with the exchanges with the Haitian community in France and pledged to work actively to enable compatriots from the diaspora to participate effectively in Haiti's development process.
