Haiti remains loyal to Taiwan

Following the break-up by the Dominican Republic earlier this week of its diplomatic relations with Taiwan to establish diplomatic relations with mainland China, the world's second-largest economy, the Haitian government announced in a statement issued the day after announces that he remained loyal to Taiwan despite Beijing's offers.

The Executive has no objection to the interpellation of the PM

Joseph Guyler C. Delva, the new Minister of Communication, declared that the Government had no objection to a possible interpellation of the Prime Minister claimed by 16 deputies provided that it is in the interest of the Nation and in accordance with the law, explaining that it is Parliament's prerogative to invite or challenge members of governments.

Taxpayers and tax obligations

In order to make taxpayers aware of the need to fulfill their tax obligations, the Government implemented information campaigns in the print and audiovisual media and organized school-based activities.

"Ciné Lari A" Celebrates its 5 years

Since 2013, the itinerant, free and open-air cinema program "Ciné Lari A" of the French cultural network in Haiti has traveled the country to make the 7th art accessible to as many people as possible. More than 250 screenings have already been organized in more than 80 cities across the country thanks to two autonomous devices and this will continue, to the delight of Haitian moviegoers. Happy birthday "Cine Lari A".
