During the week of July 2 to 14, 2018, several plenary sessions were held in Parliament, particularly at the Senate level. In the Senate, from July 2nd to 6th, 2018, 4 plenary sessions were held. 3 projects and proposals of law were voted :

• In second reading, Senator Jacques Gracia Delva's bill on "The Promotion of Culture", whose the title of which was amended by the Chamber of Deputies, was passed in the same terms unanimously by the 19 senators present on July 3. This law was transmitted to the Executive for promulgation ;

• The draft law on "standards of accessibility of the built environment" including the amendments of the Chamber of Deputies was voted on July 3, in the same terms by 16 senators out of 19 present. This law was transmitted to the Executive for promulgation;

• On Wednesday, July 4, 14 senators finally voted and adopted the entire text of the bill on the "supervision of teachers and professors" of Senator Carl Murat Cantave. This bill, which includes seven chapters and 18 articles, has been sent to the Chamber of Deputies for the necessary follow-up.

In addition, on July 3, 4 and 5, 2018, senators continued with the discussions and the vote of the articles of the bill on the commercialization, the detention, the control and the carrying of firearms on the territory of the Republic.
