Letter of Clamé Ocnam Daméus : "Mr. Staley Gaston President of the Bar Council Bar Association of Port-au-Prince In his offices Mr. Bâtonnier, I present you my compliments and have the honor to address you this present to ask you to organize a formal meeting between the Council of the Order and the Commissioner of the Government of Port-au-Prince, with a view to discuss the situation of the crisis that persists between the Procuratorate of Port-au-Prince and the Lawyers; which considerably disrupts the collaborative relations between the two institutions and to envisage as leaders, the modalities of orientation of the protagonists towards an honorable exit, profitable, and in accordance with the best interests of the nation. I hasten to inform you that this request is part of the process to find a lasting institutional solution to this crisis situation, for the purpose of the definitive resumption of activities and the much needed collaboration between these two organizations called to work in good harmony.
