In a note, the General Directorate of the National Council of Telecommunications (CONATEL) notes a climate of "Waves War" in which operators of legal broadcasting services where pirate radios https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24362-icihaiti-politic-conatel-continues-its-hunt-for-pirate-radios.html scramble other competing frequencies thus rendering unusable the frequencies assigned by CONATEL for the benefit of Information, education and of the entertainment of the population.
