Haiti - FLASH : Earthquake off Saint-Marc 15/11/2019 13:37:11
On Friday, November 15, 2019, an earthquake of magnitude 3.4 on the Richter scale was recorded at 10:24 and 50 seconds in the morning, 37 km off Saint-Marc, 32km north of Gonâve Island, 115 km northwest of Port-au-Prince, with an epicenter at a depth of 31.1km.
Recall that Haiti is located in the middle of a vast system of geological faults resulting from the movement of the tectonic plates of the Caribbean and North America, which explains the frequent earthquakes in the country.
