We praise God for it ! Only limited information can be provided, but we are able to report that the two hostages who have been released are safe and sound, in good spirits and in care. We cannot provide or confirm the names of those released, the reasons for their release, where they are from, or their current location. We ask that those who have more specific information about the release and the individuals involved would safeguard that information [for security reasons] We encourage you to continue to pray for a complete resolution of this situation. As we rejoice in this release, our thoughts are with the fifteen people who are still in detention." Inspector General Frederic Leconte Director of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) confirmed this information without further details on the circumstances of these two releases.
