Yesterday evening the Presidents of the lower and upper house had not yet received the letter much awaited designating the name of the third prime minister designate, by the President of the Republic, Michel Martelly. Rodolphe Joazile, the President of the Senate, for his part said that Dr. Garry Conille would be the choice of the Presidency unless there is unexpected change, and if it's not the name, the President will be forced, again, to talk with us.

"This morning (Thursday) I talked to the President of the Republic and he said that all measures will be taken to see if the correspondence can be sent to us today, to finally tell us who he has designated as Prime Minister. There have been consultations that have been made, some names have been quoted, the President of the Republic must choose one name [...] one of the names on which we talked a lot, is Mr. Garry Conille and naturally the name is not yet acquired, It will be formalized when the President will have sent us the name, unless there is something that comes to prove the contrary, so far it is on this name that we have discussed with the President. We always said the same thing every time that he has to designate a Prime Minister we do not have to know if the name will have problems or not, the President of the Republic has the discretion to designate a person as his Prime Minister.. I say you with all the reserves it is perhaps Garry Conille that he will designate, if it is not the case he will be obliged, again, to talk with us, but we also know that it is a obligation for the President of the Republic to continue the consultations with all groups represented in parliament, both the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies to secure a majority for the person that will be designated. [...] I shared that name with all the trends at the level of the Senate and since it is a person who is not known by all the senators, the senators are searching informations about him [...] there are deputies and senators who spoke about him on the radio, but I can not say what is the trend today [...] the name will be confirmed by the letter that we are waiting..."

During his visit yesterday Thursday to Cap Haitian the President of the Republic, Michel Martelly said that in the next 24 hours the name of the new Prime minister designate will be known, he also said that he continued the negotiations with the groups represented in Parliament. For his part, the Senator of South East and friend of President Martelly, Edwin Zenny predicted that the official announcement could have been made yesterday afternoon, he took the opportunity to ask his colleagues to ratify the choice.

For his part Conille Garry would be preparing his documents if he's the choice of the Presidency.
