Haiti - USA : Jo Biden examines Haiti's request for armed intervention
The White House is considering the Haitian Government's request to deploy a specialized armed force to stop, throughout the national territory, the humanitarian crisis caused, among other things, by the insecurity resulting from the criminal actions of armed gangs and their sponsors https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-37831-haiti-flash-towards-a-foreign-armed-intervention-in-haiti-to-eliminate-gangs.html

"We are working to determine how we can hold accountable those responsible for the violence and increase our support to help address Haiti’s fuel shortage and security constraints," White House press secretary Karine Jean Pierre said on Tuesday.

Adding "The US is working with international partners and its highest priority is ensuring that vital humanitarian assistance reaches the Haitian people, including critical medical support."

Last minut e: According to Bocchit Edmond the Ambassador of Haiti in Washington D.C., "The United States and Canada should take command of a rapid intervention force to deal with the insecurity growing in Haiti, under the influence of armed gangs [...] We want to see our neighbors, like the United States, like Canada, take the initiative and act quickly."
