The US Coast Guard repatriates 190 Haitians to Haiti

COP27 : The agreement is empty and symbolic
Raoul Vital, an executive from the Ministry of the Environment and focal point for adaptation to climate change who participated in the negotiations at COP27 leading to the agreement described as decisive, believes that this was not a complete success. "The loss and damage agreement was adopted to save the event [...] Who will be the contributors to this fund? Who will be the beneficiaries? How much will this fund finance? Sanctions : The prosecution is waiting for reports before acting
Me Bernard St Vil Dean of the Court of First Instance (TPI) of Port-au-Prince, informs that he is awaiting the reports of the Unit for the Fight against Corruption (ULCC) and the Central Financial Intelligence Unit (UCREF) before acting on files relating to the various sanctions imposed on political figures by Canada and the United States.

STARLINK approved in Haiti
According to a note from the telecommunications regulator in Haiti (Conatel), following the request for authorization from the American company SPACE X on July 5, 2022, for the supply in Haiti of its STARLINK and SWARM services, a certificate of Approval dated November 24, 2022 was granted to the firm Starlink Haiti S.A to offer broadband internet access service by satellite throughout Haiti (pilot phase). 34% of women in relationships experience violence
This November 25 brings back the International Day for the Elimination of Gender Violence. "In Haiti, one in three women (34%) in a couple is a victim of physical or sexual violence. 37% of cases generate serious injuries" the Haitian Government and the United Nations system have launched a joint appeal, as part of the International Day for the Elimination of Gender Violence (November 25, 2022) to achieve the eradication of all forms of brutality against women and girls.
