During his speech on the occasion of his installation, Reginald Paul, the new Minister of Education and Vocational Training declared "I pledge to work hard to make education what it should be in the country. Obviously, the task is heavy and difficult, but it is not beyond our capabilities [...] As a servant of the state [...] I would like to reassure the Head of State that all my capacities and my energy will be mobilized in order to achieve that all my capacities and my energy will be mobilized in order to achieve" one of the four pillars of Government Martelly, ading that "Education is a huge bet on the future but it is a challenge hat we must win together" promising that "the profile of teachers will be redefined according to the criteria of competence."

While Me. Thierry Mayard-Paul, the new Minister of Interior, of Territorial Collectivities and National Defense has announced the publication for November 18 of decree for the restauration of the army of Haiti, "This force is necessary to secure the borders, combat illegal trafficking and enable the State to levy more taxes on the country's borders" he explained during his installation.

The new head of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour, Richel Francois Lafaille said he is "open to employers associations, professional associations and trade union associations for social dialogue [...] I am concerned by the challenges of security and social protection"

The new Minister of Culture and Communication, Mr. Henriquez Choiseul for the moment cannot be installed in his functions because he is hospitalized for several days, suffering of hyper tension and diabetes, he was not present at the inauguration of the government-Conille Martelly at the National Palace.
