Haiti - FLASH : The PNH wins the battle of Kenscoff

Specialized units of the Haitian National Police (PNH), the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd'H), and the Gang Repression Force (FRG) launched a major offensive against terrorist gangs in Kenscoff on Saturday, November 22. https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-46268-icihaiti-kenscoff-large-scale-offensive-by-law-enforcement.html
The operation targeted the localities of Viard, Bélot, Godé, Clairmanso, Carrefour Konbit, and Téléco. Law enforcement dislodged the criminals and cleared blocked strategic routes. Several bandits were fatally wounded during the intense exchange of fire, and many others fled.
The assault resulted in the safe release of two hostages, Thony Ermilus and Berline Bazile, who had been kidnapped on November 1 in Fessa.
The Haitian National Police (PNH) continued its advance toward Furcy, forcing the bandits to retreat to Thomassin where they were intercepted and neutralized. The road to Furcy was cleared to allow for the pursuit of the last remaining fighters.
This operation marks a major turning point in the battle for Kenscoff, of which the recapture of Belot is emblematic. This successful tactical breakthrough confirms the effectiveness of the offensive strategy of the new "Anticipate, attack, and no longer be subjected" approach.
