Friday, Michel Brunache, the Minister of Justice and Public Security and the members designated of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) have met to plan the ceremony of swearing and this while taking into account of the Act of November 13, 2007 organizing the CSPJ under Article 38 providing the certification previously of the designated members of the Council before taking office.

At this meeting it was decided that "The judges to the Supreme Court will complete immediately the list of members of CSPJ by designating the representative provided for in Article 4 of that Act, the Ministry of Justice form, from this Monday, February 27 the Commission of certification of esignated members of CSPJ. The Commission of certification will begin its work Wednesday, February 29, 2012.

The final report of this Commission, will be handed over on 20 March 2012. The installation of members of CSPJ will take place as soon as possible. Both parties attended the meeting, are committed to act each in order to comply with this timetable, which should lead to the installation of this Council, guarantor of the independence of the judicial power and useful to the advent of the rule of law in Haiti."
