Haiti - Justice : Appointments to the Court of Cassation

In a press release the Particular Cabinet of the President of the Republic informs that from the list of judges submitted to the Head of State by the Senate of the Republic to fill vacant seats in the Court of Cassation he made choice of Me Anel Alexis JOSEPH, as President of the Court of Cassation and of Me jean Louis J. MECENE, as Judge.
While awaiting the selection of four remaining judges, the Particular Cabinet took the opportunity to renew the commitment of President Martelly to fulfill its constitutional prerogatives and ensure the smooth running of public institutions.
