Haiti - CEP : An agreement would have been found...
According to the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, the Executive and the Parliament would be close of the signature of an agreement on the formation of an Electoral Council "We areon the right track for the holding of the next elections in the country. An agreement should be signed shortly between the Executive and the Legislative for the formation of the CEP."

The Prime Minister indicated that the two parties had agreed so that the Electoral Council be Permanent and that within this institution, be created a Transitional College of Permanent Electoral Council (CTCEP), whose the 9 members [3 representatives appointed by each of the three powers] would have a provisional mandate ending after the proclamation of the results of elections, which should be conducted in the shortest possible time, according to Laurent Lamothe.

Dieuseul Deras Simon, President of the Senate, said he was satisfied with the progress for the establishment of an Electoral Council, which should, according to him, be formed shortly... Parliament would be committed to holding quickly a Extraordinary National Assembly, n order to initiate the process of appointment of its representatives to the Transitional College.
