They emphasized the completion of some major projects of cooperation such as the construction of 16 markets, three schools, a health center and a primary care clinic, as well as activities aimed at strengthening the institutional Haitian state, especially in electoral matters, prevention of natural hazards, development of national accounts, census mapping, tourism, child health initiatives and environmental protection. They acknowledged with satisfaction that the total aid of Mexico, public and private contributions, exceeded the $6 million promised to reach 27.5 million dollars. At the level of education, the President Martelly told his counterpart that his government was doing the management of the 300 scholarships offered by the Mexican Government.
