Statement : "Gooooooaallll ! We won ! We led the game. In this evening of Friday, July 12, 2013, the Grenadiers made laughing, dancing and have given satisfaction to teh entire population by defeating Trinidad & Tobago 2-0. A long-awaited victory after dark times. A resounding triumph for the Grenadiers of the National selection that reassure us of their determination to change the image of our football. One was not enough, a second confirmed it ! Two goals that restore us confidence and put us at a good place in the table of Concacaf. Two goals that mean that we are able, that we must continue and win the Gold Cup. Jean-Eudes Maurice, sole author of this double feat, has honored the national colors. We are grateful. But also, we thank and congratulate each of Haitian players on the field of Sun Life Stadium in Miami, which, in perfect synergy, were able to turn the situation to their advantage, for the benefit of the Haitian nation.
