Thursday, Dr. Rudy Hériveaux was installed as the new Minister of Communications in the presence of, among others Josette Darguste, outgoing Minister and Nécaire Grégoire, Director General of the Ministry. In his remarks for the occasion, Mrs. Josette Darguste, presented the new holder of the ministry, as a personality with great communication skills, who had served the country in different positions.

The new Minister of Communication, held to express his sincere thanks to President Michel Martelly and the Head of Government, Laurent Lamothe, who made choice of the person, to take the destiny of this Ministry.

Heriveaux Minister has promised to strengthen the capacity of the Ministry in order to channel and disclose the government's actions and wish there was very good ongoing relationship between the press and the Ministry. In addition, he committed to put an end to the disinformation campaigns, see of intoxication, while reassuring the media that he had no intention to silence the press or to undermine freedom of expression.
